Volunteer

We're looking for volunteers to help
put on the yummiest race of the year!

The Rotaract Club of North Simcoe is looking for a minimum of 100 volunteers to help run the Buttertart Trot on Friday June 12th and Saturday June 13th. Events of this scale rely heavily on dedicated volunteers who are willing to commit to be in attendance for the duration of the agreed upon scheduled time and carry out assigned tasks to the best of their ability. If you have a professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude and a genuine interest in helping others, welcome aboard!

Student Volunteers
Are you a high school student in need of community service hours? By volunteering at the Butter Tart Trot, you have the opportunity to accrue volunteer hours needed for graduation. North Simcoe Rotaract will only sign off on the volunteer hours of students who have signed in and signed out of their shift at the volunteer desk.

Aid Stations – NEW THIS YEAR
The Rotaract Club of North Simcoe is seeking enthusiastic volunteer groups to staff six aid stations along the Butter Tart Trot course on Saturday, June 14. Aid station crews play a crucial role in the success of the event by setting up and operating water and snack stations, cheering on runners, and keeping the area clean and organized during a 5–6 hour shift starting around 6:30 a.m. A positive, professional attitude and commitment to the full scheduled shift are essential, and access to a vehicle or carpool is required for stations further along the course. Local businesses and non-profits are strongly encouraged to apply—aid stations offer great brand visibility and a chance to compete in the Team Spirit Competition, where the most energetic and creative crew will win $500 to donate to a local non-profit of their choice. A minimum of six volunteers is required per station, so bring the costumes, noise makers, and team spirit!
